• Cut the cabbage in small slices. Wash the orange and grate the rind.
• Warm the oil in a large skillet and saute the cinnamon and ginger for 30 seconds. Add the cabbage, orange rind and sugar. Saute for 3 minutes.
• Add the wine, salt and pepper and cook, covered at medium-low heat for 30 minutes.
